Maple Hills Elementary Staff Spotlight:
Meet Majestic, Our Beloved Eagle Mascot!
In the heart of Maple Hills Elementary, there's a symbol of pride and unity soaring high above the bustling hallways and vibrant classrooms – the beautiful bald eagle that we are sure everyone has seen flying high above the school.
We also have none other than our very own Majestic, the Eagle Mascot. From the moment the school year begins, Majestic stands tall, welcoming students and families with open wings and a warm spirit. With feathers of gold and purple, Majestic embodies the very essence of Maple Hills.
When asked about their role in the school, Majestic's eyes light up with excitement. "I absolutely love Maple Hills Elementary," they chirp proudly. "It's a place where learning is not just a task, but an adventure filled with joy and excitement." Majestic's favorite part of being a part of the school? "Without a doubt, it's the incredible staff and teachers," they declare. "They make every day a new opportunity to learn and grow."
Among the myriad of school activities, Majestic has their favorites. "Popcorn Friday and Recess are the highlights of my week," they confess with a gleam in their eye. "There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly popped popcorn and the exhilaration of running around with friends."
But it's not just the fun and games that make Maple Hills special. Majestic beams with pride as they recount the impressive achievements of the school community. "Did you know we have 100% PTA membership? That's one PTA member for every student!" they exclaim. "And with over 280 volunteers, 50 events, and 7 fundraising events this year, it's clear that we're a community dedicated to supporting each other."
Majestic's feathers puff up with pride as they continue, "And let's not forget about the Art Docent program! Thanks to the generous support of the PTA, we've had 100% art docent coverage in every classroom. It's wonderful to see creativity thriving in our school."
But perhaps what touches Majestic's heart the most is the sense of community and support that permeates Maple Hills. "From providing an Emergency Cart to supporting the Holiday Drive needs of families, our school community truly comes together in times of need," they remark with a hint of emotion in their voice.
As our interview comes to a close, Majestic can't contain their excitement for the upcoming Pizza BINGO event on May 31st. "I can't wait to see everyone there!" they chirp enthusiastically. "It's sure to be a night filled with fun, laughter, and of course, delicious pizza!"
Indeed, Majestic is not just a mascot but a symbol of the warmth, unity, and spirit that defines Maple Hills Elementary. And as long as Majestic continues to spread their wings of joy and positivity, the spirit of Maple Hills will soar to even greater heights.
