At Maple Hills Elementary, we warmly welcome and deeply value our volunteers. Whether you're assisting in the classroom, joining us on a field trip, or lending a hand at school or PTA events, your support is truly appreciated.
Before getting started, volunteers are required to be approved by the district for the safety and security of our school community. Additionally, all volunteers are asked to review the school's volunteer training and code of conduct, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all.
Important Reminder for Events with Unpackaged Food:
If you're involved in an event where unpackaged food is being handled, at least one person with a valid WA State Food Handlers Card must be present. Cost for the class and card is $10.00. Chairpersons in charge of these events must verify that there is a current cardholder present and send a copy of the card to Secretary@maplehillspta.com. We recommend that those with food handlers cards keep a picture for quick reference if needed. The Maple Hills PTA will reimburse you for the cost of taking the class and obtaining a valid card. Please note that these cards are valid for two years. (Reimbursement Request Form)
