We love our volunteers and couldn’t do what we do without you! Whether you’re helping in the classroom, on a field trip, or at a PTA event, your support makes a huge difference.
Steps to Get Started
1️⃣ Register with the Issaquah School District
Complete registration and the background check application here:
👉 isd411.org/get-involved/volunteer
(Registration is not the same as the application—both must be completed.)
⏳ Approval may take a few weeks, so apply early!
2️⃣ Join the Maple Hills PTA
If you’re volunteering for PTA-sponsored events or programs (like the Fall Celebration or Art Docent), you must also be a PTA member.

3️⃣ Find a Volunteer Opportunity

🍎 Important for Events with Unpackaged Food
If your event involves unpackaged food, at least one person must have a valid WA State Food Handlers Card. MHPTA will reimburse the cost of the card.
